We’ve not done it before, hoping to get some information in the post or email. Looking at videos on Facebook each kid in their own stuff. Sorry I can’t help more x

Thank all, job done, fitter was really nice and informative, checked and double checked, she tried on lots of pairs, ended up with Bloch ones ( the second pair she tried) and silicone pouches, she said they felt just right, comfy and no pain, one very happy girl!

Thank you, I’m sure I’ll learn loads tomorrow. Credit card will get a hammering, just paid the dance school bill for 6 weeks, first instalment of English youth ballet, and the big bill tomorrow 😂 🤑

Thank you so much - that’s some really good advice! It made me smile about keeping first pointe shoes, I’ve taken up decorating the first pointe shoes of pupils leaving for the dance school.

Hi, im taking my daughter to her first pointe shoe fitting tomorrow. I know it’s going to be super expensive but I just wanted to know any hints or tips. She’s been on Demi for a few months and her teacher said it’s time to get the full pointes. I just don’t want to get ripped off with unnecessary stuff but want to protect her feet from any damage. Can you let me know must have accessories ( I know about pouches) we’ve been going to this shop for the last 9 years and they have a fabulous range.

She’s 12, did the senior audition as she’s in grade 5 x

My daughter applied and has been successful- yay!!! It was super hard making the videos. We had a super supportive dance school who let us use the studio and after we shot the individual exercises a friend helped me to put them together with Vimeo x

My DD (10)has been in tears last tonight, she’s scared she doesn’t feel the buzz she used to with ballet. Just before lockdown she was in her dance schools big show, she performed her heart out and was on a real high. The day after the dance school closed due to government advice so there was no after show congratulations at the dance school etc. The teacher did this on line but not quite the same. She has been doing class zoom lessons with the dance school and She starts her first associates class with Graham Fletcher Ballet Associates on zoom. Not ideal being her first lesson. I’m trying to keep her motivated but I’m not a dancer so I have no idea what she’s feeling. Anybody else’s DD or DS having the same feelings? Thank you xx
