Is is RAD exam for us today. So one way it is good to be blissfully unaware about outcome. Still could hope and dream. Hope it would be today, but I am somewhat sceptical. Have a lovely day/ weekend.
Good luck with exam 😊

As expected its a not yet for my DD kind of happy as it would have been a nightmare logistically. Hopefully DD will want to try again next year.
You can smash it next time - sorry it was not yet on this occasion x

Does anyone else keep getting their DS or DD to show them their ‘frog’ or ‘V from the knees’ whilst lying in their knees to see turnout? 😂
I did for a while after the audition and stopped when I thought DS wasn't great at it and so I wanted to pretend he would have done it better on the day 😕

It was lovely. I put the news in a card congratulating her for EYB and adding that it was also for JAs. She looked at me and cried 😍. She is very excited and I’m still reading the email constantly to check I’ve got it right! X
That's lovely, wish I had thought of it😀

Result just came through and its a No for us too, we don't mind though because she has already accepted a place at Elmhurst and has her heart set on going there, a yes would have given us a very difficult decision to make! We will try for Birmingham next year. Oh my goodness I am glad that torture is over!! 😂
Good luck to everyone still waiting! xx
Sounds like a great opportunity with Elmhurst. Not quite the same but DS is a good (FIG) gymnast and difficult decisions had to be made. By definition, not easy 😀

Oh my god! DD got a yes for year 4 Leeds. I am in shock and won’t see her until tonight.
I want to shout it from the rooftops but don’t want the real world to know before DD.
Haven't read the the rest of the posts yet. So will do that now.
Fab news, well done 😀

Hiii all, I’m a lurker and want to say thanks everyone for getting me through this nail biting time!! I’ve learnt a lot from your messages. Just had our email from Leeds. She’s a YES for year 4 Leeds and one of the youngest who applied (back end of the last group they saw) so for any still waiting on little ones, they do get in!! Good luck everyone💕💕💕

Congratulations to all the yes’ and hugs to all the not yets 😘
This waiting has sure taken patience but so happy to finally get the email for Eastleigh yesterday....DS got a yes for a YR4 London place 😃So happy and proud of him ❤️
Whats the the difference between the offer of 32 places and 24 sessions ? I’m tempted to think that 32 sessions is given according to talent? Or would age come into play eg the younger ones might be offered 24 sessions? I’m just trying to wonder who they offer 32 sessions to and why and the same for 24 sessions.....probably overthinking it all 😊
xxx
Congratulations !! 😀

Can't quite believe I'm writing this but DD just got a Yes for Eastleigh Year 6.....
Guess I'm posting this because I want to say if you get a No, just keep going....we had a No last year.
It's also weird when you get actually get the Yes when you're so completely braced for a no.....it doesn't really sink in...3 hours after reading email and telling DD, I'm still a bit glazed and can't quite bring myself to tell the world yet...
Good luck people. What a journey!
That's great new congratulations and well done 😁

Getting closer to Bath, maybe tomorrow but we have Leeds to come first.
@Daintydancer are you going for year 4? We were in group 2 on 23rd. My DD is an August birthday.
Thank you and good luck - hope the waiting ends soon 😁

That's great news - you must all be chuffed. DS was due to audition for EYB in Portsmouth this Sunday but due to clash with dress rehearsal for Dance School show he has had to withdraw. Break a leg (do they say that in dance, I guess not) xx
