I only heard Mr O’Hare’s announcement once over my three trips of this season. If they wanted the message strengthened then maybe get some of the dancers to make the announcements.
I have yet to see anyone in the auditorium put on a mask after one of the announcers messages- 1

Is Thomas Whitehead’s ponytail making it’s Tybalt debut?

And Gina Storm Jensen is debuting as a Harlot too

Was I just not watching carefully enough yesterday or were the harlots more restrained than they have sometimes been? I didn't notice any crotch-flashing.
For the avoidance of doubt, if I'm right this is a welcome development.
Various things were flashed to a number of people both male and female

In terms of debuts, have Buvoli & Gasparini done the harlots before & has Braendesrod done Paris before? I do wish the ROH noted debuts so I'm not sat there wondering whether someone is new to a role or whether they did it in the last run but I didn't see them. Thinking ahead to future debuts, I found myself while watching Richardson as Benvolio wondering what he'll be like as Romeo come February.
Isabella Gasparini posted on Instagram that it was her Harlot #3 debut, I would assume it was a debut for Annette Buvoli too but not sure, they were both great.I also assume it was Braendesrod’s debut too but based on my previous trips anyone that isn’t Tomas Mock must be a debut!! 😆

Act one done….they were wonderful 🤩 👏

The foyers seem to have returned to their pre covid state so I would have thought a return to the auditorium being food free is in order unless they are trying to make some degree of social distancing a possibility

I wouldn’t have thought the likes of Alistair Muir, Bill Cooper or Dancersdiary would be in a position to turn around to address someone as they’d be at the back of the Stalls Circle Standing area

Opening night is going rather well I think 👏

Maybe they could encourage that tiny number of patrons that don't have access to a printer to get one by selling an ROH branded one in the shop

That one is still there as noted above but I take your point. Perhaps if the ROH kept electronic versions readily available for the entire season or even had a print on demand that would satisfy everyone?
Please show me where I can find the online cast sheet for a performance of Beauty mixed that wasn’t the one shown in the cinema on 9th July…about 8 o’clock -
The problem with only having online cast sheets is that you can’t go back and check something from the Beauty Mixed performances from July, for example

Does anyone know if its possible to view the cast other than the main pairing for Romeo and Juliet online? Or will we not know until the day? When looking at performances I have booked for, there is a button saying 'view cast sheet' which I assumed meant viewing the full cast, but it just redirects me to the booking page with no further information.
They seem to be continuing the online cast sheets but it will be published on the day

The thread got diverted into discussing R&J sales too, Rob S, so the performance mentioned is in just over a week's time. I do hope the house will fill up by then, by whatever means.

Like many, I am surprised (and sad) at the low sales for this. Kaneko/Bracewell deserve a full house for sure. And given that kids all study Shakespeare in school at some point, would be a great matinee to take even non-dancing teens.
Does anyone know what the ROH does when they have so many open seats? Do they gift them to the RBS or other worthy orgs?Hopefully they wait and see what happens when the public get a chance to buy some seats in six weeks time?

I don’t know if this article in the Guardian adds anything to the discussion

From the email we all got a day or two before the performance
Our staff members will continue to wear face masks when welcoming our audiences and members of the public. We encourage audience members to join us in doing the same when moving around the building and when seated in the auditorium.
There were signs saying to wear a mask in the corridor between foyer and auditorium but no announcements.
In my area of the auditorium (Stalls aisle seat) only the two people behind me decided to go with that encouragement

I didn't get a pic that did either him or the ponytail justice I'm afraid, I can only submit this evidence of how being stabbed in the armpit draws blood from the knee
