The Weathering: thought this was OK-ish but definitely too long. I liked that we saw some junior dancers featured - Liam Boswell stood out for me. I was sufficiently pleased that they weren't in greige underwear to overlook O'Sullivan's slightly odd outfit.
Anna Rose’s outfit was the highlight, along with some of the chaps’ moves that I may try out when I put the bins out.- 2

Thanks Rob. How do you find stories on Instagram or any text?
Stories appear as a row of little circles at the top of the screen on your phone or laptop...scroll along to find the poster you are looking for. The algorithm pushes posters you look at regularly to the front (left) of the line and then the rest are in time order.

Thank goodness for that! I did email the box office yesterday but haven't heard anything yet.
I have just been on Instagram now and the statement there mirrors the one now on the ROH website which mentions the four female dancers but no mention of the Prince. Unless Vadim is mentioned elsewhere.
Incidentally, how do you find written information on Instagram? All I can ever find are photos and videos and occasionally a very short post but no detailed text. I thought someone on the Forum said Osipova posted on Instagram about having covid but I couldn't see it.
She posted it as a Story rather than a regular post...so it only lasted for 24 hours

Thanks. I keep on getting Amelia Townsend & Charlotte Tonkinson mixed up. The unknown girl is presumably an RBS student?
I think so.

Oncnp I don’t nt know what time zone you are in but booking for public is at 1pm and not the 2pm you would be claiming at +5 hours

You can see Gabriele Frola undertaking the same jumps in this short clip of Diana and Actaeon from a previous Ivan Putrov gala. The jumps occur about 1 minute in.
yep that’s the one!

There were a number of video cameras at the back of the stalls so maybe it could be streamed

The very interesting Leigh Witchel review mentions that after the suicide jump Osipova was seen no more until the bows. Does she cut the final apotheosis image (which I happen to dislike) or was it simply omitted as she’d not been feeling well at that performance.
If he's the person in front of me that was making notes sitting in a side seat of the SC...I would've thought he could see Osipova ( I could only see her knees and below if I crouched down in my otherwise fabulous SCS location)...maybe he was distracted by Siegfried and co...I expect the vision is far more obvious from a central seat.

On offer is SCS D5, commanding spectacular views of the palace gates and grounds in Act 1. the throne and Italian princess in Act 3, D5 is without doubt one of the finest spots available in this part of the auditorium and highly sought after. Offers in excess of £10.99
Thanks

If there are only the 11 dancers who have been announced then I'm not sure how they're going to fill the stated "Duration: 2 hours and 30 minutes, including an interval". I haven't been to many ballet galas but the sorts of items performed average at, what, about 5 minutes each? So that would only be 55 minutes if each dancer was performing alone & they're presumably more likely to be mostly performing in pairs. Even allowing time for a speech about Ukraine & curtain calls they surely must need more dancers. That is unless the interval's well over an hour long, which I devoutly hope it isn't!
Maybe the interval is an hour and a half long!!😕
The idea that people would be invited to go to the bar as and when they fancy it is ridiculous...do they think they're the Hammersmith Apollo!? Are we going to be patted down and have to go through airport security too?
