Regarding MDS it also depends if they award some to current yr11 to take in to 6th form as for some families it is cheaper to carry on with an MDS then have a Dada, hence less MDS places for lower school. At Tring the funding finals is for yr7 to yr11 girls and boys all going for the same few MDS places. Scholarships for Mt course. The year my DD and Ds did funding final we received an email the night before which had gone out to all parents saying a total of 55 down to funding final for 6 funded places.x

Anyone know the number or name of the UK boy selected and is he being trained in the UK.

Best wishes dancing10 for your Tring results. Took a couple of weeks last year when DD auditioned there. Finals was a lot quicker.x

Well done to all the yes's and it is definitely only a no not now.My DD proved that. Auditioned 1 school at yr6 got a no then for year 8 got two yes's She had 3 fabulous years in Lower school then straight in to a Upper school(many offers)with a Dada. It can and does happen. Best wishes to those still waiting for results.x

Or Summer baby for year 6. My DS was 9 in the June of yr5 when got a yes for yr6 (turned 10 in Summer holidays didn't turn 11 until end of year 6 J.A's. X

The academics at the Hammond are very good. My Dd too was academic and has done very well at this school. My DD has had the best of both worlds.x

Wow 100% employment before end of final term is very impresive. Not many vocational schools that can show that sort of performance in such a tough market. X
