For upper school Dada some schools ask you for your income before final decisions are made! A child needing full Dada will take as much money as two families on higher income.x

I know 2 finalists neither have heard yet.x

At least there are more places than 5 years ago when my Ds got in. The summer school was only 2 one week courses or one 2 week for yr10/11 now the older end are at Covent Garden so more space at white lodge.x

The Tuition bit stays for 3 years but the maintenance grant has to be applied for each year.x

For the Hammond it used to be stated on funding letters that if it was discussed elsewhere funding could be withdrawn. I agree with this as it stops children feeling different or less able than others and bottom line is what does it have to do with anyone else. X

I only said 50 in 6.2 as DD got 2 friends in that year. Regarding accommodation 2 years ago we were told she had to live on site even though I had family she could live with 20mins away. Accommodation was around £10,500 and even with Dada maintenance grant we would still have had to find £7000 a year. Which we couldnt do. Where she is training, after full Dada and maintenance grant we only have to find £3000 a year. I think it is more at Tring as they have been doing a lot of work on accommodation etc a couple of years ago. I hope they are not doing their final first this year and charging £650 non refundable deposit to hold your place for more than 7 days, this was what they did 2 years ago.x

How odd the current 2nd year of sixth-form dance has about 50 in it! Maybe they are downsizing.x

Although not at Pre luminary will the Director of Dance be at the finals? X

2 years ago for upper school finals it was 3 separate finals about 15 Dc in each one. So 45 to 50 for upper school funding finals for 8 DADA's.x
