Harwel
Just got home from dropping DS. Such a lucky boy! What a fantastic place, love the teachers, house parents and the children and their parents we met were just lovely. Good luck to all starting their new ventures.
amanda-w
We've just arrived home too from dropping off DD .. After seeing how upset she got yesterday at a little leaving gathering we had I was very concerned about today but there were no tears at all from any of us, it was far too exciting for tears :-) I really hope she settles well, makes some great friends and makes the most of this opportunity. I can't wait to hear all about it in 3 weeks when we get to bring her home for the first weekend.
DancingDays
We did really well right up till we left at 6.00 and then we had a few tears She's been crying tonight after dinner as well so it's been tough while she was able to text us - but we know it's just the separation thing - the staff and pupils have all been amazing today at making us feel at ease and answering questions, etc...so we know she's going to love it but my heart aches a little right now...

Its her Life
dtadmin ..... Posted before I saw your last post. That was how my dd was this time last year and she was in the lower sixth! My heart goes out to you, but in time it WILL get easier for her.

amanda-w
I think it's good that they don't get their phones until after supper time, at least we can relax a bit in the day and not keep checking our phones every 2 minutes for messages :-)
