daisydance Posted June 30, 2014 Share Posted June 30, 2014 I know loads of people who go to Glasto who are all in their 40s and older! I saw Pink Floyd when I was 16 or 17 (or both!) pre DSOM! At the second gig, they performed DSOM in its entirety pre-vinyl release. I don't do camping and mud for anyone!!! Ah - me too. And definitely no camping or mud for me either - had enough of that in pre-Glasto festival days for an entire lifetime. But it's great there's so much coverage on TV. proudmum Posted July 12, 2014 Share Posted July 12, 2014 We were at Glastonbury this year ( definitely older than 22!!) and were at the pyramid stage early. I don't know what was shown on tv but all the dancers came onto the stage - clearly very excited, waving and taking photos - it was lovely to see. There was some kind of flooring put down just before the performance - so no slippery stage. We thought it was a stunningly beautiful performance and what was so amazing was that for how many people were watching, you could hear a pin drop and I wasn't the only one who was moved to tears. 5 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
