Pointe21 Posted March 20, 2023 Share Posted March 20, 2023 I can't seem to get a definitive answer regarding student maintenance and fees from SFE for 16 year olds. AMP Posted March 20, 2023 Share Posted March 20, 2023 DD is 16 and 1st Year at Central and has full SFE funding for the course and maintenance which covered most, but not all, of the accommodation cost. SFE cover the cost of the course and I think everyone is eligible for the full cost, the maintenance finance is means tested. It was easy enough to apply for and came through in plenty of time to cover the start of the foundation degree start.  1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Mummy twinkle toes Posted March 22, 2023 Share Posted March 22, 2023 The course must be registered with SFE to be eligible and if it is then yes they will fund foundation degrees for 16 year olds.
