"Alas"?  Given the paucity of offerings from the POB over recent decades, I'll pretty much take anything that's going    Or do you actually manage to get their cinema broadcasts over in the States?

Inspired by Alexandre Dumas Jr.’s novel, John Neumeier extracted the romantic essence of the story to deliver the tragic intimacy of its heroine, Marguerite Gautier. He paints characters of intense psychological depths and gives a body to the emotions of the famous courtesan. Throughout sumptuous ball scenes and sublime pas de deux the choreographer intertwines memories with dreams and connects Marguerite and Armand’s fate to the one of Manon Lescaut and the Chevalier des Grieux. But you can still enjoy the opera, ballet or concert videos you've already purchased, as well as the upcoming live broadcasts (the opera Salome on October 27^th).
