Glissé
Hi everyone, dd has to choose a contemporary solo to learn and perform when she returns to the studio however she is struggling to find one online. She doesn’t want to perform the typical yagp or prix de Lausanne solos. If anyone has any recommendations of any contemporary, neoclassical or modern ballet solos that would be great. Thank you Edited September 3, 2020 by Pirouette21

Kanangra
A lot of contemporary dancers here make up their own pieces or improvise. If she is supposed to perform a specific piece, why not look at work by Pina Bausch, Alexander Ekman, Frederick Forsyth...?
NJH
1. what is it for 2. Contemporary or Neoclassical / 'Contemporay ballet' - if contemporary - what styles does your DD have training and experience in , if Neoclassical/ 'Contemporary Ballet' one of the issues is much of the work is still actively protected by the Choreographer or their estate especially Balanchine in general or MacMillan's Neoclassical works
