Ribbons different colour to pointe shoes

My pointe shoes are a whitish pink and my ribbons are more pinky and it is quite an obvious difference so I was wondering if there is any way to get them the same colour or to whiten the ribbons a bit.

I would try a light coating of calamine lotion dabbed onto the ribbons with cotton wool.  That will make them paler.  

 

Out of interest, are your ribbons from Bloch?  They used to sell two different shades of Elastorib ribbons; one a less shiny and much paler pink, and one very shiny and peachy pink.  The latter match Freed pointe shoes almost exactly but are too peachy pink with paler or calamined pointe shoes.

Russian pointe do ribbon to match their shoes. My dd wears Russian pointes & the colour difference used to drive her mad but the Russian pointe ribbons literally blend into her tights

Yes but I like to have the ribbons with the elastic bit in them and I don’t think they do that

They do a full elastic ribbon that my dd loves as she says the feel supportive without feeling restrictive.
