Can anyone recommend a DVD or YouTube link, I don't want her to just have a go and risk forming poor habits or injury. She is 12 and very flexible but needs to build strength. drdance Posted December 16, 2016 Share Posted December 16, 2016 Have a look for dance pilates exercises or theraband strengthening exercises (progressing ballet technique might have some) and then adapt them for use with this. Basically it provides resistance for you to work against to develop strength. The loops can be around feet, barres, hands, arms etc. Be creative! Just avoid using it for passive stretching!
