Thanks for the info, our dd would be starting in yr9(still deciding whether to accept bursary and live like paupers!) so that will be a challenge in itself as friendship groups will already be formed and dd is a quiet child until she knows people well. Has anyone else's dc started in yr9?

At my dd's local school the uniform is t shirt ,shorts and tracksuit for PE but they never wear the shorts or the track suit top. My question is for Hammond year 9 do they wear all the uniform on the uniform list or just some and which bits?

Does any one have any Hammond year 9

She will need size 3 leotards and I'm not sure how the other uniform is sized

My DD has a 30 inch chest 27 inch waist and 32 inch hips if that helps

ive just had phone call now to say everyone has accepted the scholorships and highest bursary will be 50% i actually got quite upset silly me i thought they were ringing to say one had come available, no idea why i thought that when i knew they would be ringing soon with bursary information

I haven't had this phone call yet even thou I did request the information

I find in both dance moms programmes the children are verbally abused but many people watch these programmes making them acceptable

Yes years 7 and 8 go to auditions at Hammond year 9 and above have their files/ video's seen, but this is just for schorlarships.  If your DC has a place then they got in and its only lack of money that they can't go.  .
