My daughter loved LJB and LSB. Miss Bowden is incredable. One of her students has just got into Royal Ballet.
Miss Maden takes pointe classes, she is excellent. Dd left when 14 to go else where and wished she stayed.
Highly recommended

I would like to ask for advice regarding choosing a vocational school our son, who is a talented young ballet dancer (from Germany but going to an English school, hencce language no problem) and who has set his mind on going to a vocational dance school from year 7 onwards in the UK. We will be looking at the schools in October, and he will most likely audition forall four (these are the ones known to us; RBS, Elmhurst Tring, Hammond). However, it would be really good to get some helpful input/feedback from parents who have (had) children at those schools. I have also read about the YDA, but am hesitant, as there seem to be no boarding facilities and we as both our jobs are in germany and our daugther goes to school there too, it would mean having to uproot the entire family, which is not really an option.
They can arrange Host Families.

What a beautiful performance!!!
Australian comtemporary circus group 'Circu' and UK vocal ensemble 'I Fagiolini' was spell binging.
We watched the performance in the church next door to us, Bartholomew the Great, standing.
One girl had a guy on her shoulders then another on his at one stage!
Their lines were lovely, movement amazing while they entwined within each other.
Another girl was up in the air with these 2 hanging curtain like sheet locked around each ankle while free handedly did the splits.
They just made everything look so easy but heavenly especially with I Fagiolini singing along side them. Wow!

Put me off going to RAH again
-
I couldn't believe the amount of people being allowed in late at the RAH Saturday night. I was looking forward to Swan Lake and it was ruined with people walking in front of us and 4 ladies chatting next to us and sweets packets rustling!

Well done Jack!
