Hello, I have been thinking about this and wondered if anyone knew the answer. Are children who are “out of year” allowed to audition for a place behind their “birth year” peers? For example, a summer born child who was held back a year before starting school (so out of year), could they apply for an “out of year” place at a vocational school? So a child who is Year 6 (but should be Year 7), and applying for Year 7 when should be Year 8. Or, is it strictly the year you are born dictates the year you will be. Have been wondering it for a while and cannot find any information online.

My daughter (9) is keen to try the Ballet Boost audition. She is Grade 2/3 standard, recently receiving a distinction for her exam. She loves ballet. My question is, what is the likelihood of her being offered a place? Is the standard very high? Are there many places available? In addition, we don’t have any aspirations of her joining a vocational school, she just loves dance and wants to improve her technique. Is BB the right place for her? Or is it more for children who aspire to the vocational route? I would welcome any thoughts. Thank you!

Can anyone recommend someone who can give PBT lessons online? Either group or private? I think PBT would really help my daughter, but cannot find anyone local for lessons. Any advice is welcome. Thanks in advance.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone had seen any Summer Intensives around for Juniors, over the Summer holidays. My daughter is 9 and I'd love her to experience something this Summer since we aren't going anywhere. We are in Kent, so either Kent or London could work. Thanks in advance.

I think this would be a good way for them to raise funds plus give more children an opportunity to participate. I do wonder if they will offer the program again.
