  1. I am pretty sure they shut Basel down this year and may not reopen it. We knew someone that was all set to go for Fall of 2023 is how I heard of it. https://www.swissinfo.ch/eng/society/abuse-accusations--basel-ballet-school-shuts-training-division/48101138#:~:text=At the end of October, broken bones and eating disorders.
  2. For European School of Ballet dancers that are not a part of the EU can do a 90 day internship but then have to leave the country for 90 days before they can return. The information on that can be found on the ESB website. From my understanding this is because it is not an academic program as well so they can't do the extended student visa for the younger programs. I think there is something different for the Trainee Program (but not 100%). https://schoolofballet.eu/programs/training/internship-training/
  3. Tuliprose, When you sign up you can pick up to 5 blocks (1 block for each day), there are morning blocks and afternoon blocks (same courses, same amount of time). So based on what Sunrise81 said I assume only afternoon blocks (or either block for Sunday) are still available. Some students only come for a day or two, so different days could be available when a waitlist spot opens! Hope this helps:)
  4. DD was waitlisted last year but received a yes this year. The letter we received said there would be a capacity of 26 in the morning session and 26 in the afternoon session for her age group 14/15. Congrats to those accepted and fingers crossed for those waitlisted. No is always hard so we try to think of them as not yet or not now💗
