Not sure if I have seen an incomplete Serenade, but on all your recommendations I now aim to see the whole thing.

They are the original design
Love the helmets, so retro and for me they added to the 'other worldliness' of the ballet. I have not seen Monotones in full before and I really liked the slow deliberate movements.

I would love to see it but sadly it is ROI only as far as I could find out.
-
Just in case there is someone in ROI, sadly can only be watched in Ireland.

Thanks Sharon.
Also very pleased to note, (from Dance Theatre of Harlem insta) that the dancer changed from pink tights to brown through the advert. It seems a positive message to Black and Brown dancers and audience.- 1

It seems unfortunately the Paris Opera Ballet Facebook event is only available in France. What a pity.
I have just unliked them on FB, I was hoping I would be able to see some French ballet but it has become too disappointing. I would be happy to pay but they don't seem to be streaming anything.

I found something to like in all these ballets, but I am glad I watched them in order as I thought the last one, Justin Peck's, was by far the best.

This came up on Facebook. (I think 7pm UK time)

I love that some of the time she is dancing with "afro" hair, this was one of the things that was talked about about by Marcelino Sambe in the RA's Black History Month insight. Apologies if there is a better way to describe black hair, happy to be corrected.

Just watched Back On Stage before it goes into the ether. It was such a joy to see the talent that had grown in lockdown, it gives me hope for the future. V and M I could put on repeat, I do hope they do a DVD of this.

In The Studio with Shobana Jeyasingh. She talks about creating her work Contagion on the Spanish Flu and reflects on it in this pandemic.
An interesting and creative woman who I have always appreciated listening too.

Actually it's the later recording with Marianela and Vadim.
Really sorry to read this too late, as I have the Acosta one I didn't bother to record. I will next time just in case.

San Francisco Ballet are doing a digital season 7 shows from Nutcracker to the end of June. It looks interesting and I remember how much I enjoyed all their ballets in lockdown.

Royal Ballet: Ashton Triple Bill
Sky Arts HD. Sky:820 Virgin:156 BT:363. Wed 2 Dec. 7:00am-9:00am
Three productions, including an adaption of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, an Ashton masterpiece (Symphonic Variations) and a performance of Marguerite and Armand.
This is a repeat and if you haven't seen it I think it is a real treat. Dream and Symphonic Variations are wonderful, I have never been that much of a fan of M and A but it is Zanaida Yanowsky's farewell.
