Great to hear that last night's performance went
Just to add some slightly late thoughts on Wednesday night, with Sarah Lamb and Ryoichi Hirano. This was another great performance, particularly impressed with Hirano who I haven't seen dance all that much, but he was incredibly solid and graceful and partnered Lamb beautifully. I always enjoy watching Sarah Lamb and this performance was no exception. I did think her some of the balances in the rose adagio looked a little shaky, but the last one she held for an enormous length of time - maybe 10 seconds. Is this often done in the rose adagio?
Sarah Lamb is one of my favourite principles, she convinces me in all roles I have seen her in. She is a wonderful White Swan too.

And then my stupid recorder decided to misbehave and only record bits of it
Much sympathy

Sheep! That explains the unusual head wear and dancing of the snowflakes!

I saw the Bolshoi at the cinema dancing the Nutcracker today, it was the first time I have seen this production and I was suprised at the idea that Marie/Clara was sad to leave her childhood behind. Otherwise flawless dancing a joy to watch.

I saw Faun danced by Acosta Danza and very much liked it. I wonder if they did it differently?

Thank you Odyssey. Carlos is fantastic. I enjoyed Acosta Danza recently, but when Carlos came on to dance at the end you could see/feel his stage presence.
