Last year and the year before, emails came out by 9am on the advertised day.
That is correct - I do suspect it is due to the general strike yesterday and today - so maybe tomorrow? All emails are sent at same time as there were yes, wait list and no in my DD school last year and all had same time.
Good luck everyone 🍀

Anyone any news? This is our first time applying for the summer of POB so no idea if we have to wait until the day of the deadline or if they already send emails sooner?
It is on the date they said - at least this was a case last year. I think it is this Thursday on 9th. Good luck everyone 🍀

Hi, I’m looking for Sansha Duval pointe shoes but can’t find them. Does anyone have any idea where (if anywhere) sells them in the UK please?
I think just ballet used to offer these.

Does anyone know the London MA year 7 class times? Are they in a mixed year group class?
we have a very happy DD here xx
excited to be going to London
Congratulations - it is only girls and only boys - for girls MA1 time was for autumn and spring 1.00- 3.15 (arrival 12.40), but it is changing for summer - 12.30 - 2.45 (arrival 12.00). I not sure about boys - I think they are about half hour earlier or later). Well done.

I am confused too as my DD was in group 1 for audition (year 7, but will be 12 in summer) and now was invited to senior one. Well done everyone. Congratulations to your DCs.

@BellaF I entirely agree, but @Neverdancedjustamumis right: many children want to see through the process, which is a wee bit selfish but I do understand it.
I just wonder if some people do it in a case they get assessed out in future from WL, so it might help to get a funded place in other school they were offered place in past.

Overground will run too - Richmond station is served by Southwest Railway, overground and District line - but these might be slightly busier. Good luck.

Just out of curiosity and possibly a bit nosey ... are any boys auditing for WL year 8?
I ask as a current year 7 boys mum and there are some spaces in our year group going into year 8. Apparently there are auditions tomorrow as ds and his fellow year group had to tidy up the dorm for people looking around tomorrowGood luck to year 8 & 9 finalists today.

I think Central usually have some courses too.

Have you been told that Y6s should have a bun? Our JA teacher preferred crossed plaits all the way through. We made the bows on hair slides, so that could be added at the last minute before going into class and not get squashed in the car 🤣
Any idea how to do it for MA bun?

Well, after what feels like the longest wait in the world and after a ‘No’ for years 4 and 5, my dd has received a very unexpected ‘Yes’! It definitely hasn’t sunk in yet even a good few hours later!
To anyone who is reading this today or in the future after receiving a ‘No’, please don’t think this is a full stop in your child’s ballet journey. I absolutely wrote my dd off and have been telling everyone for ages that she ‘just isn’t Royal material’, even refusing to apply for the Spring or Summer intensives because I thought there was absolutely no point if she hadn’t even had a SWL for JAs. Yet she has kept persevering and has worked so incredibly hard throughout lockdown. She hasn’t stopped trying, and whilst it might sound cliche, I honestly think that receiving those no’s along the way have helped her become the dancer she is today. This will sound really weird, and I wouldn’t have thought this at the time, but I’m now actually grateful for those no’s! Keep going and never give up on those dreams! X
So well deserved - extremely happy for your DD. Well done. Well, well done everyone. Not yets, please do not be disheartened - it is not a sprint, but marathon. Hard work and perseverance plays a key role.
