Hi, my friend from my dance school auditioned this year and got her offer by letter after about a week of the audition. She didn't think the school was for her after all and decided to accept Ballet West. xx

My cousin went to KS Dance and really enjoyed it. Julie W are you referring to 'All England Dance'? KS dance don't compete there, Kate Simmons has been on the judging panel, the school did compete in the Molly Lake and had a number of pupils in the finals (my apologies Julie if you are referring to something different). The boy from KS dance got offered a place with the Bolshoi for Sept 2012 subject to funding which I know his parents were holding fund raising events so I'm sure they got the funding together xx

Hi Klaris, I'm at the auditioning stage for upper schools and noticed your daughter auditioned at similar schools I am. I was wondering what school your daughter ended up in? I've only had results from Ballet west and as your daughter offered at place in person - love the school but distance a bit of a worry Thanks poppy.

Hi, my friend auditioned this year at manchester for the first time for upper SA only and her audition was around 2/3pm on the 24th jan I think. I've just be talking to her as she said last year her friend auditioned for Upper SA only however the audition was combined with girls auditioning for 6th form WL. This year the 6th form girls auditioned the day before on the 23rd, does anybody know if those audition were joint with girls who also applied for year 11 as well as upper SA? The audition on the 24th which my friend did was it also combined with girls auditioning for year 11 as well as the SA programme?? I've put the question out as I'm sure somebody will have the answer

Hi Thanks for all the suggestion, due to the Olympics I've decided to do the Elmhurst summer school and try for Central next year - accommodation hopefully will be a little cheaper. ????

Hi I would like to attend a 2 week summer school in London however it is non residential. I was wondering as mum and I would have to stay down there for the full 2 weeks if anybody has any suggestions for accommodation? Thanks.

Hi I've heard nothing yet but I only sent my application off on Wednesday before the closing date. my mum did call yesterday and they said responses should start to come out end of this week beginning of next (and by email). Has anybody else heard? 

Hi everybody, I was just wondering if anybody has applied for the summer school this year? For people who applied previously what are the chances of getting offered a place - anybody know how many on average they take? Thanks in advance.

Hi Thanks, I have heard people say they are applying for Scottish ballet but when checking Scottishballet.co.uk it seems to be the company and not the 6th vocational college. Wondering which the vocational college they would be referring too. (also heard it's there first graduation year if that helps) Any ideas appreciated 

Letters are out and sadly mine for lower school is a no to finals.

Hi miracle My friend got a no for year 7 at Elmhurst and got to finals at rbs, wasn't offer a place at the school but became a MA. 

My friend got to finals for year 7, she is sure there was 3 groups on her day and about 30 in each group (all girls). One group would do the audition first, group 2 the tour of the school and group3 the English and maths test (which she said was really easy). Until all groups had attended all 3 aspects. Oh yes and a short physio was also involved. Good luck to everybody who is waiting on that all important letter and i hope all your dreams come true.

Thank you ribbons, this is so nerve racking my dance teacher wanted me to audition last year for MA's but I was too nervous anyway this year ive plucked up the courage to apply if only for the experience. I do feel better reading people have enjoyed the audition. x

Hi I am auditing for year 10 at Bristol. On checking the boards and the royal website I can see some centres have already completed their auditions, I understand the SA letters only go out when all auditions are complete; does that also apply for the letters re finals or do they go out earlier. On average how many normally go to finals and does anybody know if there are any free beds for year 10 - sept 2012. Thanks 
