Thanks moneypenny for your information. I know what you mean about being wary of receiving something from Russia which you may then be unable to return... It's just the price difference that's making that option seem more attractive if you know what I mean. The problem is I don't yet know of anyone who has used that company so it's a bit like venturing into the great unknown and it's too much money to get it wrong! Hmmm, I'll need to think a bit more about it...

I've found 2 websites that appear to stock the same Grishko practice tutu. I just wondered if anyone has used either of the sites as it appears there is almost £70 difference between them and I'm wondering if there is a reason for this and if it is in fact the same tutu! Grishkoshop.com has the tutu available at the cheaper price and it appears you have to fill in all the dancer's measurements then the tutu comes from Russia. Ballet pro.co.uk has the more expensive tutu and it doesn't appear to ask for measurements, but instead offers a range of sizes to choose from. I'd appreciate any advice re these 2 options as I really don't want to make an expensive mistake! Thank you.

We fall into this 16 year old category too. I contacted our family gp practice today as our dd has the added complication of being between gp practices with having just finished at one lower school and moving on to a different upper school come Sept. I'll wait to see what happens... The receptionist asked if I wanted her added to the nurse's list for the immunisations and I said yes. Before she started lower school the practice wanted to charge us £120 for her medical so I'm not overly hopeful however!

I have the following items for sale after the end of term: Flamenco skirt -size L - £ 12 + postage if needed. This has an adjustable waist to fit any size. We ordered large for length as dd is tall but slim. We bought this new from Dancing Boutique and it is still in great condition as only worn from year 10 for max once a week. 2 navy V-neck sweaters with Elmhurst logo -size Adult Xs - £5 each + postage if needed. These were bought for year 8 and still fit in year 11, although not as roomy now! Please pm me if interested. Well done Meggy13, that's lovely news for your daughter! The thing I find a bit odd about the Rambert process is that to put candidates on a reserve list and invite them to a further audition can't help but get their hopes up. It must be so hard to still be left waiting after all this extra effort. Not to mention the extra costs involved with getting to the audition, hotels, time off work/school, etc... I sympathise because we were on the reserve list but withdrew after receiving offers elsewhere. I know everyone says the audition process is far from transparent at most schools and I do agree having gone through it ourselves but it just frustrates me that it is like this!! I'm fed up hearing - oh that's just the way it is... Arghhhhh!
