  1. I second the commitment being big. We found that we had very little family time and that the holiday intensives were the hardest to manage. It was most of Feb half term, one week of Easter hols and all of May half term on top of the 3 weeks in the summer. Fitting in a family holiday was a challenge at times!

During the week we had to be there at 4.30 two nights a week until 8pm. I think I knew every shop in Leeds after a year of hanging about 😂😂

Having said all that it's a brilliant scheme with a really good success rate just go in with your eyes open.

  2. Not sure you'll find much in central Manchester, Move used to have a shop but it closed last year.

There is a shop at Centre Pointe, the tram goes that way but I don't know how far the nearest stop is.

We live north of Manchester and have always had to travel a fair way for a decent fitting ☹

  3. The BRB workshops are lovely. My dd and her friends did a few when they were younger. Usually a bit of a class and then learn part of whichever ballet is on. You get cheaper tickets too!

Northern Ballet Academy have an open day arou d this time of year too. I think I've seen it advertised on their Facebook page.

The RAD do various one day workshops too.
