  1. We're are also missing it as at the Janet Cram awards for our first time.

When I asked last term, I was told that they would come in and do an 'internal' assessment, nothing about getting a predicted result...  I dont even really understand what that means?!

  2. Hi all,

I've searched on here to no avail so hopefully not repeating an already asked question.

Does Hammond only offer funding help for yrs 4 - 6?  and then you either have to leave or win the lottery to stay on for final years?

Hammond Preparatory School School Fees, including school lunches and use of the Dance, Drama and Music Facilities £2,625 per term. Performing Arts Scholarships are available for years 4,5 and 6. Lower School (11- 16 years) Education £3,625 per term Education and Drama Training £4,275 per term Education and Music Training £4,275 per term Education and Dance Training £5,915 per term
  3. My DD has been with the CBA (fortnightly Sunday classes) for just over a year.  The audition was a basic ballet class, very 'normal' and not at all pressured (apparently)

She wore a pale blue leo (that fits well) and socks and shoes.  Seem to think they did some flex stuff which meant taking socks off so tights were a no-no.

The classes are lovely, push them but fun at the same time.  1 hr of classical and 45 mins of 'coaching' which are both fexibility execisies and learning dances.

i dont know much about the TA bar they are on saturdays i think

  4. A friend of ours went all the way thru the school and loved every minute and it's now dancing as a principle in a 'well known' uk company.

My only thoughts are how would your DC feel if they started and then didn't get thru the audition to stay at 11 having been there a while... Just something to think on :)

    Good luck and welcome x

  5. LOL my ever calming Mum just pointed out to me our postie comes very late (lie 5pm late) in the day so chances of anything being there unlikely.

but it does mean DD will open the letter without me vetting it first :/

What time were you in on Sunday?  We were in at 10am.

Is it a generic-ish letter like the one with the numbers?

sorry for 20 questions - you are my link to the answers
