So did my dd, the letters are being sent early next week my dd was told in her interview so not long to wait.

Perhaps that was just in her group. The lady did say not to worry to much if you didn't get to the interview stage didn't she. Is it one of your dd favourites?

Yes she stayed for the interview and physio, we thought the facilities were excellent definitely at the top of her list now. I thought that having an ex teacher might have worked in her favour, as they would have seen her ability under a less stressful situation of an audition.

Glad she liked it, my dd was there and also loved it.

The waiting for the letter is worse than the audition day I think!

Think it would depend on if it was one of her favourite colleges or one of her back up ones. Which college is it as my dd has some left to do just wondered if it was one that she is supposed to be going to, or would you prefer not to say?

Did the college say why it has been cancelled?

How did the audition go? How long does she have to wait till they let he know?

I seem to remember you saying that she has them all before Christmas. She will need a good break over the holidays to recover! Hope today went ok.

Did she say why she thinks this? Perhaps she picked up on some good vibes from the people that were on the panel yesterday. Fingers crossed for her if that's her first choice.

That's good, did they tell her that yesterday? What would she do after the two years?

Sounds like the tring musical theatre course, although I think that one you can get a dada if you are eligible. It's a nightmare knowing what's the best thing for our children to do isn't it, a course like that or a three year diploma at somewhere like laine, bird etc

Can they do a levels and musical theatre or dance, like the courses offer at tring. Also what is the difference between the one your DD auditioned for and the level 6 that you have mentioned. Sorry if you have already explained this

Think the first one is always the worst. Positive feedback which is always nice. Now the waiting begins for the letter to arrive.

Listening to what the colleges have been saying although they do not agree with the new system for dada but they can not see it changing in the near future either.

At the three auditions that my DD has been to so far none of them have said that numbers of applicants are down this year due to the dada system, in fact one of them said that they would be auditioning over 1000 people for 100 places. With those sort of numbers it's going to be extremely difficult to get a dada but I suppose someone has to get them!!

What is she singing now, or would you prefer not to say?

My DD had the same problem with an audition for this Thursday and the college was very good about changing dates

When my dd did her Laine audition last week they didn't have lots of time to change into anything so just a nice blouse or dress over her leotard

wow she is going to be busy. My DD has applied to five had one audition so far and had one offer. The rest are all before Christmas luckily so she can concentrate on her GCSE's.
