  1. Beautifully put, Sim. I could see exactly what Tatiana was thinking at every moment.  I found her solo in the ball particularly nuanced and moving, as she conveyed such yearning and confusion. In the two pdd they were fearless, and took risks that only heightened the story - they weren't done for 'show'. For me it was the performance of the run, and I will carry it with me for a long time.

  2. You're right, Melody - I found this on the website. I was sure I'd chosen to see him, and this was announced in advance although it was a change of cast.

'There have been adjustments to the advertised casting for select performances of The Royal Ballet’s Onegin.

For performances on 22 January, 25 January, 31 January and 5 February Nehemiah Kish will dance the role of Lensky'.

  3. As no-one else has posted I'll write something. I'm no expert, so this is just my personal reaction, but I really enjoyed her performance this afternoon. She was very engaging, very natural and totally believable. It was an understated and thoughtful performance that moved me far more than some other more 'mannered' or 'frenzied' interpretations. For me it was a triumph and I'm looking forward to her second performance very much.

  4. You can get an inclusive ticket for entry to all the Shakespeare properties, which is quite good. The Birthplace is interesting, if a bit 'touristy'. We like Hall's Croft, and New Place. The walk along to river from the theatre to the church is pleasant if it's not raining!
