  2. i wonder , i met a really nice lady on friday who's daughter is at WL .. im sorry i can not remember your name, please message me to say hello. also your freind who wanted a placement for her fashion daughter!
  3. oh and yes i guess it `ok' if course to help our dd's to stretch...but not beat them in to it.. i help my dd stretch, because she wants me to . and i enjoy being involved in something she loves. im not sure about the horror stories that went on , but during this morning auctions, i can say that yes she as happy , before they went in, there were a few girls warming up, but i wouldn't say showing off. my dd ca not stretch that much, and at first she was a little overwhelmed...but soon she decided to hold her head up and do the exercises shes happy doing ( stretches)... over all really nice day.

  7. so i remember reading a thread once some one has written, about the way it work ..i wonder if any one remembers.. some thing about.. entry in to year 4 is difficult, entry in to year 5 ..../ entry in to year 6 or 7 is easier, as the RBS edit on students... something like that.. BUT I JUST CANT REMEBER where this conversation was!!

  10. I KNOW !! but i m in london quite a lot, so i feel im more at ease if we drive down, we lived in not far from waterloo...so i know south - southwest london and can get round there quite easily.. it crazy i know....but its all for the BUNHEADS.. !! ha ha

  12. thankyou billyelliott, i hope to and fingers crossed for the day... we will be prepared and 30 min before..its a long time since i ve been to covent garden, in fact 10 years ago!!! i think we ll drive from kent, and try and find parking....well in time, i know its a night mare around there ...

  14. gosh! this is OUR first audition so have no idea what s involved, what is MT auditions? i can say about my DD is that she has a good turn out, and def potential...but shes not flex...YET!! shes working at it! what time do you get there before the audition, and do you do hair before you arrive, or in changing rooms?? does any one know? its a floral street studios.

  16. thankyou julie, yes i can see the 'STAFF' BUT as i am new to this...i wasnt sure 100% , INFACT I STILL DONT REALLY KNOW HOW this works..but enjoying joining in.. all the above sounds all so serious, and was hoping that these girls we re talking about 'warming up" are a little older than 8yrs!!! as we / my daughter wouldnt know what to do at this stage.. what is the level of dancers at 8yrs?? im panicking a little now??

  19. hi there twiglet, well this is the most truthful and straight to the point post i have seen...thankyou.. it is excatly what i am expecting/ imagining !! yes i can see my dd being put off by the sho offs, as she is not! AND not flexible.....yet..., but i can see other good points too.. hmmm fingers crossed.

  22. love it... brilliant.. so, why clean ballet shoes...i mean, my dd shoes are not dirty , but they are used...do you recommend NEW ONES!!! does any one know how many they choose from each year? for each city ?? ohhh so many questions ...sorry! and who are the ''the perfect buns!!?""
  23. thanks outofmydepth , that is assuring... i have heared that they are like a simple ballet class, but some say other wise.. just out of curiosity., how many were in the class, and what did the girls have to wear?
