From tomorrow, 1st October, there are significant changes to the way road tax for cars in the UK is operated.  If you are unaware of the changes here is an article which explains.

I knew the main change was coming but had not picked up before on getting a refund in-year on selling a vehicle, with the new buyer having to tax the vehicle right away.
