Anna C Posted June 11, 2013 Share Posted June 11, 2013 I always prefer to see a show first and then make my mind up, so don't tend to worry about reviews. That said, the story doesn't appeal to me as a stage show, perhaps because I really liked the film for what it was - a showcase for Whitney's voice. When I saw a song from the show on TV, the singer's voice (although excellent) didn't really float my boat - it sounded very nasal compared to Whitney. So I decided to spend my very limited money elsewhere.
