Royal Conservatoire of Scotland Associates

Hi,

My DD has been with Scottish Ballet Mid Associates this past year and has been accepted on the associate programme for Royal Conservatoire of Scotland for 23/34. Ultimately her aim is to study the modern ballet degree at RCS…. I’m just wondering I anyone can shed any light as to why fees are SO much more at RCS (when worked out per hour) when the teachers seem to be the same as those at Scottish Ballet???

No sorry- just the fees for associates at RCS are so much more than the fees for Scottish ballet associates

They are quite expensive, aren’t they?  I had a quick look and they’re more expensive than Central School of Ballet’s Preps and Pre-Seniors, and they’re in central London.

I wonder if Scottish Ballet get grants or some funding for their Associates because they come under the company’s Outreach work, perhaps?
