Cherilyn Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 Last night was the first time I've seen Tulsa Ballet perform, and I was extremely impressed. If you haven't seen them, I highly recommend you purchasing a ticket as this program is available for viewing both in person and streaming for a few more weeks. Here are my impressions of Creations Reimagined.
Jan McNulty Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 Thanks Cherilyn. Tulsa World is one of the newspapers we still can't see because of GDPR. AD Marcello Angelini was one of the principals at Northern Ballet when I first started watching ballet in 1984!
Cherilyn Posted November 7, 2020 Author Posted November 7, 2020 You're welcome! I'll have to see if there are any videos of Mr. Angelini because if his dancing was as great as his artistic vision/leadership is, then wow!

Just after I started watching ballet there was a local news programme about Northern Ballet who were then based in Manchester. Marcello was one of the dancers featured and spent most of the programme wearing some sort of back brace because of issues with his back. Any back issues were not reflected in his stage performances! His wife Daniela was lovely too. I saw her guesting as the most lovely Giselle with English National Ballet. Happy days!
