Reporting?

If one reports a post, an option is presented to write an accompanying text. Where does this text go (this may be explained elsewhere on the forum, forgive me) and where can one read back what one wrote having made the report?

As I've not actually made a report myself, I don't know if you can see back what you have written.

I've just reported my own post above.  I can't see a way of seeing what I wrote when I reported it.

The text is filed as a report and is visible only to moderators and admin. It is not held like a personal message.
