Does anyone have any experience with National Youth Dance Company? I was just wondering if anyone knew what the standard was like and how much dance they did at the intensives and how the audition system works? Thank you in advance

My DD would highly recommend NYDC. For the audition my DD did went along to a session near us, there was lots of improvisation and partner work. She was then recalled to the final audtion in London which if I remember had two sessions and we where able to ask for the later session because of travel. This was similar to the first audition lots of improvisation, DD felt the standard of dancers was very high. The intensive are full on, lots of dancing. I've done the aaudition/workshop process 3 times so any questions on that drop me a message! I've not got into the company myself but will still attend any workshops they do because theyre so much fun, and everybody is at really different levels and you dont have to be good at a particular style, its all very varied! I've had a few friends in the company who've loved it and can only speak positively about the experience and I saw their final piece last year which was amazing!
