The show features Cornejo and his outstanding cast of world-class tango superstars, including his long-term dance partner and collaborator Gisela Galeassi, bringing alive the glamour of vintage Hollywood mixed with the elegant costumes, magical atmosphere and intoxicating dance moves of Argentina. The 14 smouldering dancers, including five World Tango Champions, are accompanied by a live band playing the sultry, sensual rhythms of Buenos Aires and the smooth, soulful vocals of renowned Argentine singerAntonela Cirillo.The music covers some of the most revered tango composers, such as Matos Rodriguez and Piazzolla, interspersed with Hollywood blockbusters popularised by the likes of Celine Dion, Madonna and Adele, all with a tango twist. Artistic director and choreographer Germán Cornejo is widely acclaimed by critics and audiences all over the world as one of the leading tango artists working today. He is the choreographer and lead dancer of the international sensation Tango Fire, whose smash hit show Flames of Desire won Best Theatre Production in the 2015 UK Latin Awards.Cornejo and his dance partner Gisela Galeassi are both World Tango Champions and are widely known for their performances with Jennifer Lopez and Marc Antony.
