Thanks so much, I got a reply at 9pm. Poor lady working so late on Easter Friday. Unfortunately we got a wait list (also wait listed for the RBSI). I have no idea how these things work but I'm imagining that it will be highly unlikely that my daughter gets a place in either of these. We are new to all this. All the waiting around and then getting a waitlist, an invitation to wait around for a few more months, is a nightmare. Does anyone know how many students get a place from a waitlist? Just wondering if I should just book something here in Italy and forget about it..

I still haven't heard anything. I'm hoping that we get some news today, was wondering if anyone else is till waiting for news?

Wait list for my daughter too, we are in Italy (British but living in Italy).. not holding any hope for this so just praying she gets in on the YBS. Thanks everyone for all the support ♥️

It’s all a mystery. Don’t think I’ll be doing this again. Next year we’ll just apply for the non selective ones. Way tooo stressful for me. Good luck everyone, really hoping they put us all out of our misery very soon 🤞🤞🤞

Not sure how much more I can take of this lol, does anyone know if it is as difficult to get onto the Yorkshire Ballet Summer Seminars? They ask for the grade you got in your last exam, does that mean they take that into consideration as well as the photos? Am new to all this so not sure how it all works. I just sent off pics to the RBS and the YBSS willy nilly, didn’t put much thought into it but now I’m realising that they are both very sought after. Maybe I should have just gone for the non selective summer schools and saved myself the stress….

They are really making us sweat it out aren’t they 🙄… it shouldn’t be long now though, surely we’ll know by the end of the week (even though ‘by’ mid February would be Thursday afternoon, splitting hairs now lol🤞🤞🤞

Hi Everyone, I’ve been following your comments and they’ve been keeping sane for the past few weeks. It’s nice to know that I’m not the only one going crazy updating my emails. Thank you! I guess we’ll have to suffer another weekend of not knowing 😔. It’s soooo frustrating knowing that waiting for this maybe means missing out on other things. This is the first time we’ve applied for anything so not holding my breath, but on the other hand secretly dying inside out of impatience to know, either way. If we get a waitlist, I don’t think I’d survive it lol. Would prefer a straight no I think. Have a great weekend everyone and good luck to all your beautiful ballerinas/ballerinos.
