  1. Hi Clarisse, last year my daughter was in Elementair, she had lessons every day both in the morning and in the afternoon (about 5 hours a day... more or less). They have breakfast and lunch all together in the garden and dinner too. They enjoy very much. They go to sleep quite early in the evenening and I remember that everery evening someone came in the room to see that lights were off... But they off course find the way to go on chatting we are italian and My daughter shared a room with 2 american girls, no problem for language, they still find the way to communicate. I think it's a great experience for youg dancers, not only for the dance aspect (that is really important and well organized), they really find the way to stay well far from the family. On Saturday (both weeks) they have a small demostration for the parents, really cute!
  2. I suppose the waiting list is a real chance of getting a spot. I didn't know the waiting list existed... I thought the only answers were YES or NO. They are giving until March 28th to confirm participation or not, so I think that after taht date they will draw from the waiting list.
  3. Hi CIROTIX, my daugther attended last year, she was 11 y.o. and she was in the Elementary class. They were more or less 20 in the class, I remember 2 o 3 boys. She attended 2 weeks, but no sostantial differrences in class components over the 2 weeks. She really enjoyed the experience, so we are applying again this year
  4. I I applied right now for my daughter and I immediately received the payment confirmation and an automatic email from the school with this subject: Accusé de réception du dossier d’inscription – École de Danse de l’Opéra national de Paris
  5. My daughter applied last year with a 12 minutes video (11 y.o.) and she was accepted. We are trying again this year. Last year she had a very good impression, she definetely loved the stage, so... let's hope to do it again!
  6. Hi everyone, it's Sara form Italy. I completed the application for Summer Intensive just yesterday, it's the first time we've tried it, my daughter is 12 y.o. She is already attending a training here in Italy held by RBS teachers. Any idea on when the school will respond? We are also trying at Opera de Paris, she attendend it last summer and she really enjoyed the experience. Anyone did both and can share an opinion?
  7. Hi moms...just a quick question for the dancers admitted to 2023 Summer Intensive. Did you already receive info about scheduling, accommodation, and so on? I only received the confirmation on 9th March and after the payment of the first rate...
  8. My daughter has been admitted on Elementarair level for 2 weeks. Does anyone partecipate at the same level?
  9. Has everyone received the emails last year.. I mean, the YES, the NO, the Waiting list... ?
  10. My daugher is 11, we are from Italy. I was thinking that maybe in Paris there are strikes, I heard something on TV, for pension reasons if I'm not mistaken... maybe the theatre is closed due to that... I hope... hope that this silent is not because the answer is a NO...
  11. Nothing... nothing... just waiting... anxious! Good luck to you mums...
  12. Hi Barbara, I'm happy to know I'm not the only one Nothing for the moment...
  13. Hi, I am the mother of a dancer too, my daughter is 11 and we have sent an application for the next "Summer intensive". I am very anxious about the response we will receive next week; I hope it will be accepted. I didn't take info about the RBS summer, but I think the POB summer is good intensive program, our dance teacher's daughter attended it years ago, with an excellent impression. The girl has now then become a professional dancer. I don't think it's money thrown away... but I can’t be sure, I'm also waiting for other opinions.
