Well done to your DD too! We are very surprised because she’s only 8 and some of the steps were way above her current grade, but she’s very happy! I’ve ordered her a couple of new leotards and a wrap. Anything else can wait until we have more specific instructions! See you in October!

Just found out my DD was successful in her audition. Can any seasoned parents give me any information about what to expect? Also - her regular ballet leotard is very pale pink and I don’t much fancy having to wash it more than i already do - would i be better off getting her a black one for the EYB rehearsals?

I’ve had a look though the older threads but i can’t seem to find one for 2022. Does anyone have a child starting at LJB in September? My daughter is starting Level 1 and i was wondering if there were any other newbies on the forum. Can any experienced parents give me any tips as to what to expect? We weren’t planning to do rep class to start with as we think it might make the day too long for her as we have an hour and a half drive to get there. Is that a mistake?

Has anyone who has submitted an audition video for EYB High Wycombe had an acknowledgement of receipt? I had trouble with getting the file small enough to attach, and although it’s a long shot getting in (8 year old, just going in to Grade 2 so not as polished as many applying) I’d like to know at least that they’ve received it. This is our first time going through it and my daughter will also be starting at London Junior Ballet in September, which was her first ever audition.
