There are 100+ Amphitheatre tickets at £4.00; all other tickets have gone though some returns/unused tickets may come through nearer the time.  I'd try well before 10:00 - Macbeth rehearsal returns were available at 7:00 am on the day (may have been the day before) and were very soon snapped up.

I'm finding it easier to use the calendar and then click on the performance/activity that is of interest.

Since ROH "upgraded" their booking system, I have some difficulties to check the availabilities.

Friends rehearsals is one of them.

Go to calendar and click the date you are looking for, i.e. 14 April.

All events on the day come up.

You should still find Slip tickets on 14 April if you are happy with this area.

If you go through "Friends rehearsal" section on what's on top page, you would see sold out icon which is not correct information.

Sometimes Sadler's Wells sells tickets for other venues eg the Coliseum. I think that this happened with Ivan Putrov's and Sergei Polunin's recent programmes.

Yes, Aileen, I remembered that the tickets were sold via SWT site for Carlos Acosta's last RAH show.

And as you pointed out SWT often collaborates with Coli.

The programme has been garbled by whoever at Semperoper did the translation. Here is the original, which makes clear what the three works being presented are:

The original language clarifies the works.

    Thank you Geoff.

  3. Semperoper Dresden Ballet is to give performances in London, 21-23 June this year.

The linked page is rather confusing that Royal Albert Hall is referred as the venue, but I can see Sadler’s Wells Theatre mentioned on the top.

The latter seems more suitable if they bring In the Middle Somewhat Elevated by W Forsythe.

  4. If I did not hear wrong, K O’Hare briefly mentioned about The Dream castings at one of the recent Insight events.

His small talk was after live stream broadcasting, I think.

2 Puck debuts, 1 already debuted dancer, Lysander and Demetrius, all debuts, Hermia and Helena, already debuted dancers.

  5. although one has to wonder if a company that has a grand total of 28 performances of 3 programs between now and the end of November can still be considered "major"...

    I missed “major” part.

The following companies may not be as grand as POB, but female company/artistic director is the head.

Sue Jin Kang – Korean National Ballet

Noriko Ohara – New National Theatre Tokyo

Brigit Breiner – Musiktheater im Revier Gelsenkirchen

Birgit Keil - Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe

  6. I agree, Naomi. In Daria's case, yes, she has tweeted but of course tweets can sometimes be misinterpreted. In Elena's case, I don't believe there has been any official announcement about whether she is leaving (I sincerely hope she isn't). So speculation based on rumour is not appropriate.

    I agree with you, spannerandopony.

Daria might've indicated The Nutcracker as the her last one, but that's it.

We should not jump into conclusion and define one's speculation as a fact.
