She’s going for MT and dance courses really. She is at college at the minute on a performing arts course and then wants to go onto the degree. The foundation year may be an option though. Will keep you updated x

Aww thank you. My daughter is 17 but still young for her age if that makes sense. I would say her strengths are dancing but she does need more work in her MT. She auditioned for urdang but wasn’t successful and just waiting on LSC. She has Wilkes,performers,bird,trinity Laban and addict. She has been a dancer since she was 3 and she has RAD ballet exams also.

You know I’m so glad I joined this forum!! Honestly daughter is super positive but open minded aswell. Her philosophy is ‘what will be will be’. LSC isn’t a definite no but the audition process is a little confusing. Thank you so much for all your advice. She still has a few other options bless her. So it’s probably more me worrying than her haha. Thanks again xx

Daughter has auditioned to 2 stage schools and been turned down for both so far 😢. I know that’s just the industry but honestly how do you pick your child up from the rejection and frustration.

We have stayed the night before so daughter could have a good rest before the audition.

Daughters favourite so far is LSC but audition is confusing if I’m honest. Audition is in 2 parts and some are taken to the second part but if you’re not it doesn’t mean you are not successful 🤷🏼♀️ Just a waiting game really. Daughter has applied to bird but doesn’t want to audition there anymore.

Hi thanks for your reply. Dd has Wilkes this Friday and performers 23rd January. She doesn’t really have a set favourite if that makes sense she goes on the thought ‘what will be will be’ lol. Urdang was good but I will be honest I wasn’t keen but she liked LSC. Any tips would be great xx

Hi daughter so far has done an audition with urdang(not offered a place) and London studio centre. The audition for LSC is split into 2 parts but daughter didn’t go through to the second part but was told it doesn’t mean she hasn’t been successful. She has auditions at Wilkes, performers, trinity, addict and bird. Any advice would be welcomed haha. Honestly this audition malarkey is a minefield.

Just wondering my daughter auditioned for London studio but didn’t go through to the recall. The admission manager said this isn’t a no to the other girls but wondering has anyone else had this and their child has been successful?

Can I ask has anyones child done the Audition but not the recall and still been accepted?
