Does anyone know the process at Elmhurst if children have covid? We have so many cases in schools around us and I'm panicking that there's going to be a positive test 😱!!

Yes he was 9:45 too. He was trying to decipher the 'odds' but I guessed age and sex was irrelevant as the funding goes across the whole school and there could only be 3 MDS places for many many applicants I'm guessing!

My son came out smiling and it was over in an hour! Not sure how many there were but hopefully the outcome will be quicker than a month 😉

Oh that's such a shame about Tring. So you can't be considered for the funding now??? That seems a little harsh :-(. I think with regards to secondary schools, unless it's fee paying then just accept it and then decline later if you are lucky enough to get another place. If it's fee paying, I have no idea 🙂

oddly my husband had an email from Tring today (confirming times etc) yet I didn't so check your other email options if you've not received anything either!

It’s never over till it’s over 😊. My son knows he cannot go anywhere without funding which is hard but it’s the reality of the situation and I guess if it’s meant to be, it’ll all work out for the best in the end 🤷‍♀️. Stay positive x

Yes maybe the MDS funding at Tring is the Holy Grail 😅!! Fair play to any child who wants to go through these auditions for fun when they already have a place elsewhere. Although, days off school and nights in hotels are possibly enjoyed more by the children than the parents!! I'm guessing it all works out though as if you got a wait list place at Tring that would come up if someone took a place elsewhere anyway. The mind games is possibly harder than anything else 🙄

Have you received any further information from Tring apart from the written paperwork? I just assumed they had done the physio check so they won’t need to do another one (hopefully!).

Thank you this is helpful for tomorrow. Did some get to go home when some got recalled then? Any idea why? I’m guessing that might be hard not to read into either positively or negatively 🙈! So pleased it was a positive few days 😊

Year 7. I didn’t think they would want more videos, I just assumed it was the first one or nothing but I’ll wait and see!

I haven’t heard anything at all 🤔. I sent 2 emails telling them we couldn’t make it and could they please use the original video footage but received no response to either. I assumed at the time they were just busy with auditions but who knows .

Yes we had an email on 21st Jan with arrival times etc
