Thank you! I couldn’t see it anywhere but then thought I’d read something about singing happy birthday but couldn’t see that either! Maybe I’ve just gone mad 🙈

Hi everyone. I’m just after some clarification is possible. My son has auditions at both Tring and Hammond and I was certain they both required a singing solo , but now I’ve looked through the audition information again I cannot see that Tring requires a singing solo. Is this correct?? Many thanks,

So the boys audition date has now changed! But at least I guess the agony will be over sooner!!

My son is also going to the WL finals in March. I asked his teacher and she seemed to think it was 10th and 11th and the info definitely says you need to be available for both days. She said they do physio checks on all students so some would have those on the first day and then they would swap over and some would have them on the second day. I guess it depends on how many are there, but if it's 30+ then they would need 2 days to do them all I suppose . So I'm planning for 2 days of roaming rather than just one 🙂!

Yes good news here 🙂. Not sure about Bath - were they the day after Totnes auditions? If so, then Yes tomorrow hopefully!

Are there only Boys semi's for upper school or WL too? I understood that boys went through to a straight finals due to numbers but is that not correct?

Ok thank you! So not all applicants hear at the same time then? This seems almost as weird as putting the stretching elements right the beginning of the audition 😆!!

Can I ask how you heard they would be out 2 weeks after the regional auditions please? My son was told they would hear about WL results when all of the regional auditions had finished and they would hear about Mids results after WL places had been sorted. Maybe he got that wrong ??

Yes I had emailed asking when they were opening as the website said the 1st but there appeared to be nothing. They replied to say they were now open (????) and attached the link and the information about auditions requirements but I'm not sure if they require an video without going all the way through the application form - which I don't want to do if I then don't have the video ready! There was quite a lot on there for a video ,including singling, so I just wanted to check first!

Good morning! This is my first posting so hello! I just wondered if anyone can help with the Hammond applications for y7? I have received the forms but it's not altogether clear as to whether I need to send a video or if that is what is expected at the actual audition? If anyone could offer some help I'd be really grateful 🙂
