Does any body know why the tring summer school dates are the 22-25th of July, but schools to not break up till Wednesday 24th July, is it normal to take children out of school for the last few days

Hi, I have the same problem with my daughter, and no where like dance direct ect. Sell the A fitting shoes, but if you go to www.blochshop.co.uk, they sell all the fittings there x

Also dance direct do have some decorated tutus around £50

When I went RB insight day in November, I asked that question and they said in ja audition, they do not make them do the splits, and I know people in ja, who cannot o the splits x

What' is the ideal height for a ballet dancer? Does anyone know x

Thanks for all your views and comments, my daughter is 7 year old, and she goes to quite a small school,where only a few do festivals at the moment and only 3 times a year, but her teacher asked her if she would like to do the next festival, which she wants to, but im not too sure, I hate all the competition as at her age it should all be fun, and i do know that the childrens parents who do festivals at the moment there has been big falling outs. The only positive thing is that nobody at our school is the same age as my daughter so she would not be dancing against anyone from the school, as i would hate this to ruin my relationship with all the ballet mums there.

Has anybody done dance festivals before? What do you think of them? Are they worth doing?

My understanding, anyone correct me if I'm wrong, there are 6 groups in the cba, the youngest they will take is 8, and they are grouped on ability not ages.

Out of interest did all the no letter say the same, mine said about alot of people auditioning this time, and recommends that you take a little more training?
