  1. Im still yet to find anyone in the 3:40 group on the12th .... starting to think we have been given the wrong time 🙈🙈🙈🙈
  2. I would think so. There are 7 studios so I’m sure they will use one as a “ warm up” studio xx
  3. As much as I would love them to be able to mingle... I can’t imagine them being allowed to sit close enough to each other to play cards etc sadly plus with masks on whilst they are waiting too they can’t even read each other’s facial expressions 😞. I hope I’m wrong but ....
  4. That’s a shame... so they do t care if the boy has musicality or not it can improvise? Strange associate teacher preps improve so much if it’s just about plié and barre work 🧐. I’ve been told by several other dance teacher friends that artistry is very important. They must have that “ something”
  5. Well they won’t be doing that this time sadly... Covid has put paid to that
  6. From how I understand it from ds associate teacher the 2nd look for girls was a call back on the 3rd day for those they were unsure of... the definite yes and no’s don’t get called back. Boys never needed call backs as so much fewer and varying standards. So much harder for girls for sure. physio check is done once at the final audition xx
  7. Of course that’s the main thing. However I know a couple from same centre on different days. Maybe they’ve grouped them in some sort of order of preference? Who knows... and who cares 🤣
  8. This is what I mean... Wales is hours away yet in the 2nd to last slot 🤷🏼‍♀️ I really don’t think it based on location or age or alphabetical order sorry .. last slot
  9. Well we are a good couple of hours drive away and are the last slot. I would have thought those from London centre area would be last ?
  10. My ds surname is B and he appears to be in the very last group 🤷🏼‍♀️ I think it’s just random tbh
  11. No , they aren’t allowed. Elmhurst see it as their training should be enough which in fairness, it should be. Tring I think let you do MA’s though
  12. I think there are 12-15 places ... but won’t take 15 if they don’t want them
  13. We only have two boys in year 6 Birmingham ... they may have done it on location , age ... anything or nothing. Again something I could obsess over for two weeks !!!
  14. I think there are 4 groups of 7 ... as ds associate teacher said 28 boys went through to finals . So two groups in morning , two in afternoon xx
  15. Departure time is 6:20 - 6:30 then a long two hour drive home. so they have got them crossing over then. Maybe your ds group dances first then our group arrives to dance when your group is in physio? Haha I’m going to try and not spend the next two weeks working it out!!! 🤣
  16. Just got date and time for my ds ... 3:40 on 12th 🤢😬. You take proof with you of test .
  17. Never give up hope... I’m sure I read on here a girl got a no for JA every year and ended up in White Lodge!!! Your dd has done an amazing job to get this far.. and if it’s a “not yet“ use this as fuel to keep going , keep working and keep improving until the next time. If she wants it that much, she shouldn’t give up 😊xxx
  18. They do.... at the White lodge audition. They are strongly encouraged to audition for WL even if they just want an MA place and not WL. The whole 3 years of JA is all geared towards training them for WL... 😅
  19. Unfortunately not, but they do a waiting list too. Some they offer MA’s to will decline and go to Elmhurst so that may free up some space too. It’s such a shame they are such small classes compared to junior associates
  20. From my understanding there are very few mids places available and also depends on which centre you are at. I think they put year7-year 9 together so each year it only opens up a handful at each centre. Usually those who got to WL finals but didn’t get selected are in the running first for Mids places .. that’s how I’ve always understood it .
