    Hoping Eastleigh are tomorrow

    We’re waiting for Eastleigh too.

But all this wishing and hoping is sure tiring now. 😭

    There are no guarantees.

By this time last year Eastleigh was out and only London was remaining.

Who’s sat here thinking if it’s not tomorrow I’m going to cry

Last year this time we were waiting for the London results and I’m not 100% sure but I think nothing came out in the first weekday after the weekend of the White Lodge summer fair.

They might or might not send anything.

    Bummer, I know.

  3. It just came to my mind that RBS’ yearly picnic and open day at White Lodge is TOMORROW, Saturday. Maybe their entire admin staff is getting ready for that? 😱

    That would explain the delays.

    Any of YOU coming?

I was only gonna go if we get into Associates, but if someone from here wants to meet there I might consider going.

I was mostly okay, a little excited and anxious (about telling DS he hasn't got in) but I truly believed Eastleigh would be out yesterday and so I find myself today very on the edge 😕

My daughter is very easygoing and would shrug it off.

It’s ME I’m worried about over the weekend if the results are not in.

I hate waiting... for anything. This is now interfering with my work, I need this done and over with one way or another. I’m ready to celebrate, I’m ready to say “oh well, what’s next”

So if DS auditioned in London for Eastleigh (we missed our Eastleigh audition🙈) what set of results can we expect to be in? Thank you!😊

Good luck to everyone today - rooting for each and every one of you!🌟

You’ll get your results with the London batch, hopefully next week.

Haha, I blame my husband, he kept saying we wouldn’t hear until Friday! Guess how smug he is today 😆

At this point he might be overconfident about tomorrow. Tell him THAT! 😈

Feeling is mutual ExpatB I also have this secret obsession however you are lucky your wait may be over today I think I will have to wait until next week now for a Totnes result.  Would love to receive a yes but realistically expecting a no.

    I don’t feel lucky. I feel like a mess. 😂

They’ve skipped days in the past, e.g. last year.

This audition was on 13th May, exactly a month ago in Eastleigh... it seems like ages ago.

I am exactly the same. Although DD isn’t at school late and I’ll probably have picked her up by the time Leeds come out if they do today.

I feel as though my heart is beating out of my chest today.

So glad there is someone to share the nerves with as not everyone gets in in real life and makes me feel like a pushy mum!

It’s so easy to get all tangled up, isn’t it.

I’ve sworn so many times I won’t stress or obsess about this. Told myself over and over again that it’s totally OK either way. I actually believe it too. Usually. And look at me now. LOL.

I keep refreshing to see if Eastleigh are out so I know Leeds are imminent as I don’t think I’ll sleep again tonight if they don’t come out today 😭

When Eastleigh comes out you’ll know it from me within seconds.

You here are the only people I can share it with, as I keep my email refresh obsession secret from everyone else in my life and DD is at school till late today. 😉

There are many glorious roads to the fulfilment of ballet dreams and as someone said in an earlier post, the closing of one door can lead to the opening of another 😊

And let’s not forget all the other wonderful dance disciplines! Almost all successful dancers started out with ballet!

I think the results will be with the London results...at least that is how I understand it works. It’s our first year so I could be wrong but this is what I have gathered from other posts. 🙂

Yes. That’s what’s been happening... but there’s always an element of surprise.

We auditioned in Eastleigh for a London place, so hopefully I can confirm later on today.

Just wondering if anyone has ever been successful in getting feedback from JA auditions? My DD has just had a ‘no’ for the 3rd year running -  in my mind that means she definitely does not have what the Royal Ballet are looking for. But her teacher is already saying she needs to keep ‘plugging at it’ as she thought she stood a real chance this year. My DD is already saying she might want to try for the Mid Associates next year... but my gut feeling is that if the RB have said no this many times, there is something about her physique or dancing ability that isn’t right for them. She successfully auditioned for another associate scheme last year (Y5) and will continue that for Y6. It just feels unfair to let her audition for the MAs  (and to pay the application fee!) if she absolutely doesn’t stand a chance. Feedback from her audition would be so helpful!

Teachers send their very best students from around the UK.

Of those, the RBS picks one out of 10 (about).

You don’t have to have anything “wrong with you” not to be chosen. They pick the outstanding ones who had a lucky day. Even the outstanding ones who have a off day are out.

    So nervous now.

Hang in there, Emma. There are many of us here from the Eastleigh groups, all with about the same chance (not much, statistically).

One way or another this will be over soon now.

Aww congratulations to all the yes's!! Making me nervous for bath results now 🙈. Maybe not long if they're doing 2 centres in 1 day.

It was only one and a half today...

    Newcastle and half of Birmingham.

I’m guessing the other half of Birmingham tomorrow.

Also, last year there were sometimes breaks with no results sent out.

At least we’re in this madness together.
