With so many people getting up to leave as soon as the curtain dropped after the curtain call I thought we wouldn’t get a red run, I can’t remember if the clapping stopped too but was pleased to see one, makes me wonder even more why Meaghan and Alexander didn’t get one.

I propose you open up an ‘incognito’ tab on your browser so that every time you refresh the page a new ‘feedback’ pop up....err...pops up...and you can stress the point an appropriate number of times in different ways

Yes, nothing is ‘at a glance’ now.
I mean seriously, who needs a full page photo to illustrate each event on a page with FORTY ONE events!!!??? What were they thinking!!?

New version on my work computer’s Chrome browser....while I would never normally complain about a nice pic of Yuhui as Lise used as a link to see all ballet and dance it leads to way too much scrolling

Elizabeth died when the creature broke her neck surely
Oh, I missed that then, I thought Victor accidentally shot her while she was close to the Creature but wasn’t actually being held by it. Victor had his gun pointed in that general area

I'd also put an extra 50p in the meter for the lighting at times.
And an extra bullet in the gun....poor Elizabeth died from a gunshot nobody heard

They're literally giving tickets away - I won a Royal Ballet competition and they gave me 2 central front row amphitheatre seats for Friday's performance! Very excited, but would not have paid £70 each for them.....
What was the question, your favourite colour? 🤔🙂
-
Well, all the stalls circle standing got to sit down, the ones that turned up...then at least half a dozen people came in and sat around me.....10-15 minutes in to Act 1 😮

With two rows of empty seats in front of a large number of the stalls circle standing places tonight I wonder if I’ll be invited to sit down 🤔🙂

What are you trying to record exactly? Television broadcasts? Freeview? Sky?

I'm baffled by Amazon's claim that the recently released 'Onegin' is Region 1 and therefore unsuitable for most DVD players in the UK, yet according to C Major's website the DVD is Region O. Has anyone here bought a copy from Amazon UK?
Yes, and it’s in the ROH shop too.
The Amazon photo of the back of the box confirms it’s region free.

I’ve noticed that the £60 Stalls Circle seat from which I watched Don Q last week is costing £70 for Frankenstein

Oh dear, sounds like this is going to be expensive. There are times when I hate the progress of technology.
Having examined my laptop's various ports it has an HDMI one so I'd assumed that I'd just be able to plug in a Blu-ray player to that like you'd plug it into an HDMI port on a TV. However I hadn't thought about software. Oh well, I certainly can't afford to shell out £400-500 right now so I've got plenty of time to research it further.
It plugs in to the USB port. A decent player will set you back about £90 on Amazon
The player will come with the software needed

Ah, right. Perhaps I should have said "as standard"?
The electrical shops seem to be full of laptops that don't have optical drives so even a dvd player is not as standard any more

In the last few days my browser link to the Events section has reverted to the old style page, is that the same for everyone else? Has the new style with big pictures and the need for lots of scrolling been dumped?

Having watched the R&J blu ray a couple of days before booking opened I settled on the left side of the Stalls Circle.
I was quite surprised to see about 10 SCS places for the 1st June Osipova performance become available this afternoon so I snapped one up, there's still two available now!

Amazon release date is listed as 1st March, which is tomorrow. Amazon usually get it to you on release date, depending on postal service. Hope you watch it before tomorrow, otherwise your extra £5 is wasted. I watched it last night to get max financial benefit.
6th March was the day they said it would arrive although I do admit that they did get the Vienna State’s Le Corsaire to me earlier than expected.
-
I was quite surprised to see the new ENB Giselle in the ROH shop last night, according to Amazon it’s not out until 6th March so cancelled my order and bought it there admittedly for £5 more

Has there been a show yet where Anna Rose O'Sullivan hasn't either been Amour or one of Kitri's friends? Loving her as both!
And of course on Saturday evening she was both

Oh ok, in that case I’ve never seen a red run and will erase the phrase from my vocabulary 😊
