DD did SA audition yesterday (Birmingham) and really enjoyed it-mind you she said she is aching all over from strained muscles so not sure what she was doing in there?!!! I thought it was suppose to be an easy lesson! Shame we have to wait 'til end of March now..good luck everyone swe

Has anyone had any experience of putting canvas ballet shoes in the machine? I have done it with satin ones then stuffed them with kitchen roll to dry, but never tried washing canvas. Thanks swe

I have had so many problems with the teacher at my DD's school -she is fantastic at certain disciplines but not ballet-and this is my daughter's passion. I have to say that I got the courage from this forum (and in particular from Anjuli) to insist that she not be tied to that school for everything and yes this was totally against the 'rules'. SHe now does ballet at one school and other forms at her original school. It has been very stressful to be honest but we have done it and I have the happiest DD since we bit the bullet! Thank you to everyone for all their invaluable advice and good luck Stardancer. x
