Modibodi period knickers have been mentioned on this thread and interested to see they have launched a style aimed at dancers and gymnasts. They are listed as ‘Recycled Seamfree hi-leg cheeky’

If you Google NHStracing they will contact you via text, phone or email if you don’t have the app.
Have you been somewhere in last week and had to give contact details? Coffee shop etc -

it depends what you mean by ‘test’ ?lateral flow tests are pretty poor at picking up positive cases and that’s if people do them properly (or at all).
‘NHS’ track and trace is nothing to do with the NHS is it! I know some people don’t have a suitable device but for the many who do can’t you just show the vaccine passport on the NHS app (the actual NHS app not t&t!) in real time and avoid the faff of printing and dates. Or is that not allowed?
As @Peony says if asked to show a vaccine passport I would hope to do it from the NHS app, takes seconds to download and has no medical details just a qr code. I no longer have a printer.
PCR tests I’ve had as part of the ONS research and lateral flows are recorded using my NHS number so will be on my medical record so would hope are linked to the qr code. -

The links in the FAQs are not working for me. Perhaps they are currently being updated!
Hmm I’ve just tried and it works for me

As I read it app can inform you you’ve potentially been near someone with C19 (point 2) so you are aware and what to do or you definitely have (point 1) and need to isolate and will then get the isolation countdown.

We’ve used AXA, had to arrange via phone call as an add on to our family yearly travel policy.

This gives some idea of process. I can’t see the income tiers on website.

From my recollection it varied year on year. We were told had Dada offer early on but waited some time to find out details of parental contribution. If you’ve been offered a Dada and are within the income bracket then it’s another frustrating waiting game.

Could anyone give any advice how long a Dada takes to be approved or rejected once you have submitted all the paperwork?
The schools manage the Dada so you need to contact the appropriate school and ask them. They are usually very approachable because understand it’s stressful for parents wanting to know their contribution.

Such a shame for all pupils in this school, but most schools have bubbled their year groups to avoid this exact scenario happening, I wonder why this school chose to proceed differently?
Because they live in shared year boarding houses on site?

Am just on the bus going into Brighton for a yoga class and looking at my phone with my reading glasses on and there’s no fogging whatsoever!!
So this heat thing ( it’s very hot today) must work. I still have to keep my head up or glasses fall off as they don't sit very well on top of that wire bit but are as clear as a bell and haven’t used a “No Fog” wipe yet... saving these for tomorrow ...just in case!!Pleased you’re not suffering from misting. Just a thought maybe you need to look at fit of glasses or mask fit at bridge of nose. Lots of workers, NHS and more are having to move around vigorously with both mask and glasses on and can’t afford to keep letting their glasses fall into their work space.

Given option last year to bounce tickets to this years tournament or refund. Since informed that tickets won’t be eligible for this year as don’t know what the capacity and social distancing will be so now valid for 2022.

Depending on school they may have bursaries to help support living costs - do ask them

Hi all,
Ive been trying to compile a list of summer schools for this summer that are in person rather than online. This may be somewhat optimistic - but I’m aware that some deadlines are looming so wanted to do some information gathering sooner rather than later!
My dancer will soon be thinking about whether she wants to apply to vocational school and if so, which ones. I’ve therefore been restricting my searches to summer schools that have post 16 courses. I think this might give her a taster of the school generally. She’s not yet sure whether she wants to go down the classical route or aim for a more varied dance education. Just to restrict things further, I haven’t gone for any London locations - we’re not ruling them out but thinking that maybe next summer we will have a closer look at those as options.
So far, our list for summer schools consists of:
Elmhurst,
Northern Ballet School (couldn’t find this on their website as the page link states it doesn’t exist, however when using google I came across the application form for this year),
Tring,
KS Dance
Moorland (missed the deadline for this one).
I can’t seem to find any info on whether Hammond is going ahead. Maybe someone has some info on this? I haven’t included RBS as I’m sure the deadline for that has passed.
I was desperately hoping that RCS would go ahead this summer, but I received an email today that suggests it is online only, which is frustrating. This one was at the top of our list!
Have I missed any others that are worth considering? I know there are a few amazing summer schools that aren’t attached to vocational courses - but we wanted to kill two birds with one stone really, and try and get a taste of a school whilst attending a summer course. Also if anyone does recommend any London based summer schools, please do suggest them.
Any guidance or suggestions gratefully received!Do you have the correct Northern Ballet school? Leeds don’t run a full time program but do have a summer school. Manchester have vocational training and have had summer school in past

True. I'm just thinking that if it's behind a paywall and people have already used up their monthly allocation then it's not really very helpful to the creatives in terms of generating sales. Unless of course The Stage has a Twitter/Facebook etc. account where it can post the details. Of course, probably most people who read The Stage assiduously will have a subscription anyway, but even so, it would surely be good to have the potential customer base as wide as possible.
There is an Instagram account mentioned that is giving each business publicity. I had fun last night looking at lots of the Instagram accounts and what people were making/selling. There is an associated website.
Notonthewestend.co.ukand Instagram is same name with links from each post to the seller.

I must say Elmhurst must rate top of the list for PR savvy!
Hope they are putting as much effort into training students as they appear to be at gaining media mentions! An Elmhurst reels ‘advert’ has appeared in my stories this morning.

Could be but we’ve very intermittent public transport - train service from main towns but for most of us an 40 plus minute drive to a station. Local buses stopped a few decades ago and were only once or twice a week before that.
I didn’t work in last lockdown so can’t compare but thought workplace car park seemed emptier at end of day.
-
I have an hours drive to work leaving home at 6.40 am. The three days I’ve worked since this lockdown began the traffic has been as heavy as normal if not heavier. There are always a lot of freight trucks from Felixstowe but this is extra cars.

We used to get hold of him via the Bloch shop in Covent Garden

My Dd who currently works in retail had visions of groups of friends all arranging various click and collects from different shops whilst all meeting for a take away coffee
-
The click and collect is an odd one. Surely it just encourages people out onto high streets to mix.
