I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems with booking. I did too, and when I finally managed to get through on the 'phone I was told that they were having problems with their website. This was weeks ago so I would have thought it would have been sorted by now! None of this helps you I know. They were leafleting outside the Coliseum on Thursday night after Men in Motion which made me think it wasn't selling too well - obviously I was wrong if there are only a few tickets remaining. As to The Dying Swan it is sometimes danced at the Russian Ballet Icons Gala - this year it is being held on Sunday 9 March at the Coliseum.

I hope that Beryl H is correct and that Yukui didn't sustain a serious injury last night. After the slip I was sure she had injured herself as she went off stage for a while and then stood half in the wings until she danced again. Ryoichi certainly deserved the applause both after his solo and at the curtain calls for his performance as Espada.

My first experiences of going to the ballet as a child (a long time ago!) were when The Royal Ballet were on tour in Brighton - and I still have the autographs to prove it! I agree that it would be great to have the potted bios of the dancers again on the ROH website. ENB had a little booklet each year for Friends when Wayne Eagling was there but this seems to have been dropped now with the re-launch.
