joyofdance
Hi Could someone please help myself and my friend understand the qualifying mark needed to get to the London finals. One of my friends daughters qualified in 3rd place with honours but seems to have been informed that only first and second places with honours will qualify to go to London. We have looked on the all England website but are none the wiser. Thank you in advance.
DancingDays
Hi - last Regionals and Finals in 2013, they tightened up the qualification for finals to just 1st and 2nd placed dancers if they achieved an Honours mark. 3rd place with Honours didn't go through. However, they've amended that this time to 1st, 2nd & 3rd go through as long as the Honours mark is gained...so your friend's daughter has qualified. (She would have had a Finals application form paper clipped to her certificate to complete and hand in at Regionals because the last day of regional finals is the deadline for entry to Finals so I hope she did). Hope this helps.
