Picturesinthefirelight
Question 1 is so they can produce data to see what type of background applicants are coming from.
Happymum
Not sure where are you applying Stardancer but I think that generally they are asking about the parents current job because that may need this information if someone is asking for funding/bursary etc. Last exam report is normally needed to confirm student level/ability so they can allocate students in suitable dance groups (at summer schools etc). I think it's not a problem if somebody didn't take any exams. A teacher might write a letter confirming student ability if needed. This is how I understand it. Hope it helps. Why will they need a background data (apart from financial support etc).
Picturesinthefirelight
If its a school , especially if they are funded in any way or have charitable status then they will need to show they are attracting a cross section ofvthe community.
